Every time you open your phone, laptop or newspaper, there is an assault on the spirit. From the genocides in Gaza, Sudan and Yemen to the racist rallies, attacks on trans rights and widening disparities here in the UK. Some say βdonβt lookβ, others say βdonβt look awayβ. It's all too much.
But weβre not supposed to be βOKβ, immobile, or unfeeling.
We're also not supposed to be alone.
Common Ground is a 2-hour workshop bringing together like-minded, caring souls to remind ourselves that:
β€οΈβπ₯ Our feelings are valid and vital tools
π Each of us has unique gifts that give us power
β There are plenty of us and together we can change things
This workshop also serves as an introduction to the full Caring in Common programme - where we will join together as a community of caring souls to face what we are truly feeling, and how we might let it move us into action.
